YOKNEAM ILLIT, Israel (AP) _ Syneron Medical Ltd. (ELOS) on Wednesday reported a fourth-quarter loss of $896,000, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
The Yokneam Illit, Israel-based company said it had a loss of 3 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs and stock option expense, came to 14 cents per share.
The medical aesthetic device maker posted revenue of $82.9 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported net income of $179,000, or 1 cent per share, swinging to a profit in the period. Revenue was reported as $298.1 million.
Syneron Medical shares have risen 23 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has increased 48 percent in the last 12 months.
