BLUFFER'S GUIDE

While there's the not-so-small matter of a derby prior to this clash, Glory versus Roar could well be the fixture of the round.

Glory are flying after three wins in their last four games, including a 5-0 rout of champions Adelaide United last time out.

There should be a decent crowd at nib Stadium on Saturday night to see if Lowe's men can get the win, which would take them to third in the A-League table.

These two played out a nine-goal thriller - won 6-3 by Glory -  the last time they played in Perth so if this one is half as good, strap yourself in.

COMMENT: A-League returning to its crazy best

All signs are there should be goals, especially with the home side's attacking quartet of Diego Castro, Andy Keogh, Adam Taggart and Chris Harold all in their best form of 2016-17 so far.

Roar are also in impressive touch, unbeaten in their last six games in all competitions, including two AFC Champions League (ACL) qualifiers.

But they missed a huge opportunity to tighten their grip on third spot last week, surrendering a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 with Melbourne City.

That result continued Brisbane's patchy away form, as they have won just two of their last eight A-League games on the road although they did triumph 2-0 away to Shanghai Shenhua in the ACL last week.

John Aloisi's Roar XI will be interesting considering they start the ACL group stage on Tuesday against Muangthong United.

The visitors will have Jade North back from suspension but a trio of defenders - Jack Hingert, Corey Brown and Daniel Bowles - are all injured.

ROUTE TO GOAL

No team has scored more goals in the last five rounds than Glory, with Lowe's men amassing an impressive 12 in that time.

One of the few sides in the A-League to play with two central strikers, Keogh and Taggart are proving a formidable combination.

Then there's reigning Johnny Warren medallist Diego Castro, who has taken his game to another level over the past fortnight with four goals and an assist.

Perth's weakness is their defence - only cellar-dwellers Adelaide have conceded more goals in 2016-17 - and they won't have it easy against Brisbane as Aloisi's attack is purring along.

Jamie Maclaren remains the main man for Roar after his brace against City took his season tally to 10 goals and the ex-Glory striker has scored in each of his last three games against his former club.

WHO'S BEEN IN THE SPOTLIGHT THIS WEEK?

Michael Theo. Brisbane's goalkeeper will make his 150th A-League appearance for Roar on Saturday night.
