BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (AP) _ IRSA Inversiones y Representaciones SA (IRS) on Monday reported fiscal second-quarter net income of $171.1 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.
The Buenos Aires, Argentina-based company said it had profit of $2.96 per share. Earnings, adjusted to account for discontinued operations, were 39 cents per share.
The real estate company posted revenue of $1.17 billion in the period.
IRSA Inversiones shares have climbed 25 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has more than doubled in the last 12 months.
