Singapore's track and field hopes at the London Olympics are over after hurdler Dipna Lim-Prasad bowed out from the Women's 100m hurdles heats on Monday.

The 21-year-old finished joint-last with a timing of 14.68 seconds, which happened to be her best timing this season.

Sally Pearson from Australia won the heat in a time of 12.57s as France's Reina-Flor Okori from France and Germany's Carolin Nytra took the other two semi-final slots.

Singapore's sprinter Gary Yeo's Olympic dream also came to an end on Saturday when he finished eighth in the Men's 100m quarter-finals.
