Singapore canoeist Geraldine Lee's Olympic journey hangs in the balance after failing to make it to the final of the Women's Kayak Singles 500m event on Tuesday.
The 25-year-old finished second-last in her semi-final with a timing of 2m 1secs. Kozak Danuta of Hungary won the race in 1m 50secs.
Lee will take part in the Women's Kayak Singles 200m event on Friday.
She is the first Singaporean canoeist to has qualified for the Olympic game.
