Inter skipper Javier Zanetti has urged the Nerazzurri to focus on the first leg of their upcoming Champions League round of 16 tie against Olympique de Marseille.
The Nerazzurri have been struggling to find their best form in recent weeks having suffered three successive Serie A defeats, and Zanetti is desperate to get things back on track in Wednesday's game against the Ligue 1 giants.
"We have to live from day to day because I believe it's the only way we can achieve anything," Zanetti was quoted as saying on the club's official website.
"We've spoken about it among ourselves and with the coach. We all want to turn this situation around and get rid of these negative aspects.
"As for the Champions League, we have an important match ahead of us and then we'll get back to fighting in the league where there are quite a few teams jostling for third place, and we hope to be among them.
"We realise we are going through a bad spell, but we want to stand together and overcome it so we can concentrate on the Champions League match."
Wednesday's match at the Stade Velodrome kicks off at 20.45CET.
