Arsenal goalkeeper Vito Mannone has rubbished reports linking him with a return to Italy, insisting that he wants to stay with the Gunners for as long as he can.
The 24-year-old has started the season well, appearing seven times for his side in the absence of injured first- and second-choice keepers Wojciech Szczesny and Lukasz Fabianski.
Goal.com exclusively revealed last week that Serie A side Napoli are sounding out a possible £4 million move for Mannone, but the shot-stopper has moved to reassure Arsenal fans of his commitment to the club.

"I want to make it clear, because there have been unfounded rumours, that my contract is not ending in 12 months," he told Arsenal Player.
"I've got a few more years and I'm happy to be at Arsenal right now. I'm looking at the present and my future is not in doubt.
"I want to stay at Arsenal as long as I can, I don't want to move to any other club."
Mannone, who has been capped at Under-21 level for Italy, also spoke of his hope of one day playing senior international football, although he praised the importance of the international break for players not involved in the action.
"Obviously it is a dream for everybody to play for your country and I wish one day that I can join the senior team," he continued.
"But at the same time it is great [to have an international break] because if you have any knocks and injuries it gives us the time to recover. It is a great time for recovering our bodies and getting ready for when the league starts again.
"You try to focus on having a good break because as soon as the players come back from their national teams you start all over again and there are games every three days. You need to be ready for it."
