Moussa Sow and Ibrahima Sonko have raised their doubts over Galatasaray’s new signings Didier Drogba and Wesley Sneijder.

The reigning Super Lig champions recruited the high-profile pair in the January transfer window, but though Fenerbahce striker Sow is pleased to see Drogba arrive in Turkey, he believes he could be in for a tough time.

“I'm happy Didier Drogba decided to play in Turkey. It will be good to play in the same league with a star like him," he told Star Africa.

“People will compare us as I play for Fenerbahce and he for Galatasaray. But the Super Lig is not as easy as many people think. Drogba won't be having an easy time in Turkey.”

Former Reading and Stoke defender Sonko, who now plays for Akhisar Belediyespor, also spoke of his admiration for the Cote d'Ivoire striker, but added Gala will not be able to rely on just their two star recruits.

“I have played against Drogba in England. He's a quality player. Wesley Sneijder is also a great player but you can’t build a team based on two players."
