Massimiliano Allegri is adamant his AC Milan side are strong enough to compete for the Serie A title despite falling 12 points behind league leaders Juventus with the return of the South American stars.
Milan lost further ground on the Bianconeri after losing their third Derby della Madonnina on the trot 1-0 thanks to a Walter Samuel for Inter.
But Allegri is hopeful with the Samba stars back in the frame they can turn around the fortunes of the club.
He told the official club website: "[We know] that things won't change over night, nor will a single match change our season, but it is important to rise again."
In an effort to improve Milan's fortunes Allegri said: "The first thing we have to do to improve is to find continuity in our results.
"We have to improve defensively, and we also have to get better in front of goal. At the moment, we are creating a lot of chances but we are not converting enough."
The Italian is confident Robinho and Alexandre Pato can help improve Milan's record, adding: "He [Robinho] will be very important for us this season, and from Pato we're expecting goals.
"What we're paying for in the league is the wasted chances we've had, and that's why I'm not worried."
Allegri dismissed any doubt over his position as Milan coach, and is thankful for the faith being shown in him by the club's president.
Allegri added: "He [Berlusconi] understands where we are at the moment, and he has encouraged us to stay calm.
"I have always felt the trust, but now we need to start getting results."

Analysis: Real juggernaut in need of repair post Mourinho
By Iain Rogers MADRID (Reuters) - Florentino Perez's decision to hire Jose Mourinho to coach his beloved Real Madrid in 2010 was the fruit of the construction magnate's obsession with winning the 10th European crown that has eluded the club since 2002. The bespectacled 66-year-old, who has splurged more than 400 million euros of the club's money on players since returning to the presidency in 2009, was also desperate to end the domestic and European domination of Real's bitter rivals Barcelona.
