Bayern Munich's star wingers Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben should be fit to play the midweek Champions League clash against Spanish outfit Valencia, coach Jupp Heynckes said on Tuesday.

"Both trained well during a complete session. I hope and think that they are both operational," said Heynckes.

Both Ribery and Robben missed Saturday's 3-1 Bundesliga win over Mainz because of thigh strains.

"I think that I can play on Wednesday. Things are looking pretty good," said France's Ribery.

Dutch international Robben added: "We have to be prudent. There are so many big matches coming."
