Ribery believes France can make an impact at Euro 2012

Franck Ribery has talked up France's chances at Euro 2012, claiming that there was a good feeling within the squad and that everyone was determined to succeed at the summer event.

The 28-year-old also backed Les Bleus boss Laurent Blanc to remain in the hotseat after the Euros.

"I think the team is playing better and better," Ribery told RTL Radio.

"There is a good atmosphere within the group and we want to succeed in doing something in the Euros," he stressed.

France are on a 17-match unbeaten run under Blanc, and Ribery backed the Frenchman to continue in his role regardless of what happens in the summer tournament.

"I hope he continues with Les Bleus because it would be important for him and the players of the French team," he said.

France are drawn in a tough group at the Euros that includes England, Sweden and co-hosts Ukraine.
