The Serie A title holders currently top the league with a two-point lead over the Partenopei, while the Nerazzurri sit third, four points behind the table-toppers.
However, Pandev has played down the importance of the upcoming fixture, reminding that there are still a lot of matches to be played this term.
"It will be a very interesting game," the Macedonia international told reporters. "I honestly don't think, however, that it will serve to see which side will be the anti-Juventus.
"The championship is still very long. We'll just look to give our best and then we'll see where we end up," the 29-year-old concluded.
The game between Inter and Napoli is set to be played at the Giuseppe Meazza, with the kick-off scheduled for 20.45CET.
