Manchester United goalkeeper Ben Amos is set to join Hull City on a season-long deal according to the Hull Daily Mail.

The paper claims that the shot-stopper will join up with Steve Bruce’s squad for the Tigers' pre-season camp in Portugal.

If a loan deal can be secured, the 22-year-old, who recently penned a new three-year deal with the Red Devils, will become Bruce’s first signing of the transfer window.

Amos previously spent time on loan at Oldham, Molde and Peterborough before making his Premier League debut for the Red Devils against Stoke City last season.

Meanwhile, Hull’s current longest-serving player Andy Dawson has signed a new one-year deal with the Championship club that will see him become eligible for a testimonial at the KC Stadium.
