Liverpool are set to complete the signing of Fabio Borini after agreeing a fee believed to be in the region of £11m was agreed with Roma.
Upon completing the move, the Italian forward will be reunited with former Swansea boss Brendan Rodgers, becoming the 39 year-old's first signing at Anfield, after previously working together during a six-month loan spell at the Liberty Stadium.
Comfortable out wide, or up front, the former Chelsea youngster is set to undergo a medical ahead of his proposed move later today, with just personal terms left to agree upon..
It caps off a meteoric rise for the 21 year-old striker, after an excellent season at Roma which saw him strike nine league goals in 24 games and then clinch a place in Italy's squad for Euro 2012.
