Home United
2-0 Woodlands

In their last match, Home United who were missing Kenji Arai, Shi Jiayi and Qiu Li due to injuries, were stunned by Tanjong Pagar United. Coach Lim Lee Saeng attributed the defeat to the 13 games played over the last 2 months by his team and will be willing his team to bounce back. Expect the Protectors to come out blazing on all cylinders at the Bishan Stadium.

The Rams have only picked up 2 points from their last five matches and will need to improve defensively if they are to keep out the Protectors. The Rams will have to be wary of the Protectors who scored 7 goals in their two meetings last season.

Gombak United
1-1 Singapore Armed Forces

Gombak United lost to a spirited Young Lions side and would be keen to improve. Gombak United were a shadow of themselves and hardly imposed themselves in that match. Gombak have lost their way somewhat after making a promising start to the season and their failure to make chances count, has cost them valuable points.

The Warriors will head into this match after late victories from Mislav Karoglan strikes in their last two matches. The resurgent Warriors have put behind their defensive mishaps and gotten valuable points to help their climb up the table. Expect a tight match!

Brunei DPMM
2-1 Hougang United

DPMM's experience, physical threat and technical ability has helped them beat the lesser teams and lifted them to first place. Coach Vejran Simunic will be pushing his team to continue their good form when they host the formidable Hougang United.

Hougang United play a brand of attractive football but the results have not been going in their favour. Their forwards Jordan Webb and Mamadou Diallo have been missing glorious chances and that has proved costly to the team. Coach Nenad Bacina will be hoping for a strong performance from his team to stop their 4 run losing streak, but will find the hostile environment of Brunei tough.

Courts Young Lions

1-1

Albirex Niigata

After relatively poor form, both teams have bounced back in style and moving up the table.
The Young Lions beat Tanjong Pagar United resoundingly and followed it with a narrow victory against Gombak United. They will be hoping for more of the same when they take on Albirex Niigata.

The Young Lions will be hoping to welcome back forward Jonathan Toto who only featured as a substitute in their last match.

Albirex were held to a stalemate by Geylang United, in part due to smart saves from goalkeeper Yazid Yasin. That draw, stopped a run of 2 consecutive wins and coach Koichi Sugiyama will be hoping that his team can return to winning ways. Albirex, who were tipped to challenge for the title at the start of the season, will be hoping for a good showing and to continue their unbeaten run.

Tanjong Pagar 1-2 Balestier Khalsa

Unfancied Tanjong Pagar United caused one of the shocks of the season by defeating Home United at the Queestown stadium. Coach Terry Pathmanathan will be hoping that the result is not a one-off and will be expecting consistency after that morale-boosting result.
Playing at home will definitely boost their chances against a confident Balestier side.

The Tigers return to action after a week's rest and will be aiming to gain all 3 points.
Balestier Khalsa have confounded the critics and maintained their title challenge, despite being written off early in the season.

The Tigers will definitely be the favourites and expect them to edge it!
