Andres Iniesta believes that Barcelona have every reason to be optimistic about their future as several young prospects are ready to make the step up to the senior team.

Players such as Martin Montoya, Sergi Roberto and Gerard Deulofeu have all been tipped to become first-team regulars in the near future, and Iniesta feels that the presence of more experienced members who went through the same process should be assuring for the youngsters.

"The club is guaranteed its future in different positions. The most important thing for the younger players is for them to feel comfortable with the senior players," Iniesta was quoted as saying on the club's official website.

"The players coming up should feel happy that they are joining a group of players who were once in the same situation that they are in now.

"What matters most is that you have to be confident in yourself, know that you are going to have to get through some difficult situations where you’ll need to have faith in what you can do."

The attacking midfielder then went on to stress that Barcelona, who failed to retain La Liga and the Champions League titles last season, are still hungry for silverware.

"We are as eager for success as ever, if not even more."
