Feyenoord - Dynamo Kiev Betting Preview: Dutch side to turn tie around

Editors' Picks

The first leg between these sides finished 2-1 in favour of Dynamo Kiev over Feyenoord in Ukraine. That was a result that left both teams quietly confident of progressing to the play-off round of the Champions League qualification but only one can go through on Tuesday.

The Dutch outfit will be pleased to have picked up an away goal through Ruben Schaken, although disappointed to then surrender that lead in the second half.

Even so, they are now one week ahead in their preparation for the new season and, with home advantage, will expect to win this second leg. Feyenoord are 7/5 (2.4) with Bet365 to win on the night.

Dynamo Kiev’s domestic season is already up and running and that showed in the manner they turned the game around in front of their own fans.

Yuri Syomin’s side will hope to keep things tight early on in Rotterdam and are capable of beating Feyenoord again if the Dutch side get desperate after the break.

Dynamo Kiev can be backed to win on the night at 9/5 (2.8) and are 12/5 (3.4) with Bet365 to pick up the draw that would see them claim victory in the tie. That could prove a tough task.

Nonetheless, expect the atmosphere at De Kuip to put pressure on the visitors early on, and it would be no surprise to see Feyenoord take the lead before the interval and win the leg.

You can back Feyenoord at HT/FT at 3/1 (4.0) with Bet365 here.

But don’t rule out a sting in the tail. The Ukrainians have the ability to pick up an away goal and if they concede first they will know they need one.

For the value bet, consider a reversal of the first leg score by backing Feyenoord to win 2-1, taking this one to extra-time, at an industry-best price of 17/2 (9.5) with Bet365.
