Cesc Fabregas hopes Bojan Krkic returns to Barcelona one day in the future.

The forward left Camp Nou in 2011 for Roma but is currently on loan at AC Milan, where he has struggled for first team appearances with the likes of Stephan El Shaarawy, Mario Balotelli and M’Baye Niang ahead of him in the pecking order.

"I hope Bojan will return one day," Fabregas told Marca. "When he was here before, he was too young to stand out.

"But I think now he has matured enough to do well at Barcelona."

Fabregas’ Blaugrana team-mate Adriano has been linked with a departure from the Catalunya club, but the full-back insists that he wants to remain at the Liga giants.

"We can reach an agreement between both parties," he said. "My intention is to stay at Barcelona where I feel very comfortable and happy.

"I have expressed my desire to Zubizarreta and the directors to continue at Barcelona.

"It is good for the team that there is competition at this moment. We have to be at 100 per cent. Both [Jordi] Alba and [Eric] Abidal make it very difficult for me."

Barca have had a terrific season in La Liga so far and sit 12 points clear of second-placed Atletico Madrid, but Adriano warned that he and his team-mates must not lose their concentration.

He added: "The games are complicated when you are not focused. We are already thinking entirely about Granada because it is a very difficult place to go.

"We have to keep winning games in the league. This is going to be one of the most difficult games of the season.

"Our mentality is to not stop. We know that we have this advantage in the table and we want to maintain the momentum that we have at the moment, which is great.

The defender then hailed the strength in depth at Tito Vilanova's disposal and spoke about the prospect of a congested fixture list as the club balances their charge for trophies on all fronts.

"In each position in the team there is great competition. We all want to win titles. We know that we cannot relax, even if we have this point advantage," he continued.

"The schedule is always complicated. We will play Real Madrid in two big games in a short space of time, but we have done so before and we will be at our best from now until the end of the season, with everyone raising their game when called upon to play.

"The calendar is hard. In late February and early March, it is hard. When you have more days off from one game to another, the truth is that it is appreciated."
