The agent of Wigan attacker Victor Moses has revealed he will do everything in his power to secure a move to Chelsea for his client.

The 21-year-old joined the Latics from Crystal Palace in 2010 and has been a key member of Roberto Martinez's squad during two successful battles against relegation.

However, the Blues are believed to have offered £4 million for the Nigeria-born forward after he revealed he would not be signing a new contract at the club.

The player's representative, Tony Finnigan, told the Metro: "Providing Wigan can agree a fee with Chelsea, I will do all I can to make the move happen for Victor."

BACK WITH A BANG?
5/1 Wigan are 5/1 with Sportingbet to beat Chelsea on the opening day of the Premier League season.

Finnigan also hit back at Wigan owner Dave Whelan, who recently suggested that the agent had unsettled the former England Under-21 star.

"I know how these things work, but I’m not getting involved in a slanging match," he continued.

"All I will say is, how did Victor end up at Wigan, when he could have gone to Manchester City? Who took him to Wigan?"

Whelan is reportedly looking for a fee closer to £12m for Moses, with Josh McEachran believed to be a possible makeweight in the deal.
