England's talented players can see them succeed at Euro 2012 - Beckham

David Beckham is confident England have the talent required to succeed at Euro 2012.

Newly-appointed manager Roy Hodgson has already seen his Three Lions produce two credible performances against Norway and Belgium in preparation for the tournament.

And Beckham, who currently plies his trade at LA Galaxy, believes England are capable of living up to the ever-present pressure of succeeding in Poland and Ukraine due to the setup in place.

“There will always be expectations on an England team going into a major competition.” Beckham told ITV.

“We've got a new manager and a lot of talented players coming through, so we're looking forward to this one.

“I want England to succeed in every competition they go into and every game they play. I'm looking forward to it.”

Beckham received a standing ovation on his return to Wembley on Saturday during the half-time of England’s pre-tournament friendly against Belgium.

The former Manchester United legend stood alongside fellow England veterans Sir Bobby Robson and Peter Shilton to collect an award for playing over 100 internationals for his country.
