Cristiano Ronaldo has made history after becoming their first Portuguese player to score in five major tournaments following his equaliser against the Netherlands.
The ex-Manchester United winger netted his maiden strike at a major championship back in 2004 after coming on as a substitute for Portugal during their 2-1 defeat to Greece at Euro 2004.
Ronaldo also found himself on the scoresheet two years later, finding the back of the net against Iran in the group stage of the 2006 World Cup in Germany.
The 27-year-old, who also scored at Euro 2008 and at the 2010 World Cup, was in superb form for Real Madrid last season scoring a massive 60 goals in 55 appearances.
Yet the attacker had to wait until the final group game of Euro 2012 to finally open his account at the tournament in Poland and Ukraine.
