German giants Bayern Munich will play two games in China on a five day visit at the end of this month the four-time European Cup winners announced on Tuesday.

Bayern, who had a frustrating season last term losing in both the Champions League and German Cup finals as well as finishing runners-up in the Bundesliga, will play Chinese Super League outfit Beijing Guo on July 24 in Beijing.

They will round off their short tour with a game against Bundesliga rivals VfL Wolfsburg on July 26 in Canton.

Bayern will return to Germany for a German Super Cup meeting with their recent nemesis Borussia Dortmund, who edged them in the league and thrashed them in the Cup final, on August 12 in Munich.

They begin their Bundesliga campaign on August 25 against newly-promoted Bavarian neighbours Greuther Furth.
