Arsenal's promising striker Benik Afobe has stated that he is willing to go out on loan again this season to gain further first-team experience.
The England Under-19 international had a short spell with Reading at the end of last season, making three appearances for the Royals during his loan in which they earned promotion.
The 19-year-old has stated that he would be happy with any decision Gunners manager Arsene Wenger makes regarding a future loan move, despite his focus on establishing himself in the first-team at the Emirates being his ultimate goal.
Afobe told Sky Sports: "If the gaffer wants me to go out on loan for six months, or even the whole season, then I would relish that opportunity because playing for Reading last year was very beneficial for me.
"However, my main aim has always been, and will always be, playing for Arsenal.
"It was a great experience for me to join a side pushing for promotion to the Premier League and all the boys and coaching staff there were really nice.
"They made it really easy for me to blend in and get back playing football again, so it was a great spell for me overall."
Afobe impressed after Arsenal's pre-season tour of Germany last season, before being hit by injury which delayed him from making his first start for the club. However, the highly-rated striker is hoping he can take advantage of their current tour of Asia, and make his mark.
"Being out for six to seven months is always going to be hard for any player, but especially for a player that is still trying to break through into the first team," added Afobe.
"The season finished really well for me though and hopefully this year will be an injury-free one for me."
