JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) - Anglo American Platinum said on Wednesday it had lost 3,886 ounces of platinum production at its South African operations after workers staged a one-day walk-out in response to violence at one of its mines.

The workers stayed away from work on Tuesday and resumed work on Wednesday.
