Frank Rijkaard has no current interest in becoming the next Netherlands trainer, according to his agent.
The Oranje coaching post has been left vacant following the departure of Bert Van Marwijk, who announced his decision to step down on Thursday after a disastrous Euro 2012 campaign.
Perry Overeem has stated that Rijkaard remains committed to his job as Saudi Arabia's head coach despite not having long left on his contract and the country failing to qualify for World Cup 2014.
"Frank's contract runs until the end of 2013," the agent told AD.
"Saudi Arabia can no longer qualify for the World Cup of 2014, but there is more to do."
Rijkaard has international experience as Netherlands assistant coach to Guus Hiddink in Euro 2000 and helped guide the team to the semi-finals.
The 49-year-old also won two Liga titles and the Champions League as Barcelona boss but his agent has ruled out any move in the coming months.
"I understand that many people are now considering Frank," he added, "But it is now completely irrelevant.
It had been suggested that his presence had been missed but he has quickly squashed those claims.
"It is unfortunate for the Dutch team that Bert has quit. I had a great time with him and learned a lot from him," De Boer said on his Twitter account.
And at an Ajax press conference he added: "I had my share during the successful World Cup, but it is not all about me.

Rijkaard is just one of the candidates the Dutch FA (KNVB) are looking at to replace Van Marwijk. The other names include Ronald Koeman, Ruud Gullit, Frank De Boer, Louis van Gaal and Co Adriaanse.
Bert van Oostveen, the KNVB chairman, insisted the next coach must be a Dutchman.
He also told AD: "It would be a travesty for the image of our national football."

"In 2010 it was all easier, when [Rafael] Van der Vaart and [Klaas-Jan] Huntelaar played in their little clubs.
"Now you have influential players in the Premier League and the Bundesliga. That makes it all a lot harder."
