Former Man United boss and club legend, Sir Alex Ferguson, was spotted at the prestigious Oscars ceremony with his wife, Lady Cathy.
When he stepped down after 27 years in charge of champions United, Ferguson revealed he had his own "bucket list" of things he hoped to achieve.
One of them was a trip to what is also known as the Academy Awards.
"I'm retired and I've got time on my hands now," Ferguson told British journalists on the red carpet. "I spoke to my lawyer and he said, 'you must go to the Oscars sometime', so I got this opportunity."
Interestingly, the self-declared "film buff" had one of the best seats in the house where he revealed he had even given a pep talk to Best Supporting Actress winner, Lupita Nyong’o, before she collected the prize for her role in 12 Years A Slave.
