We started a poll asking local football fans who they think will clinch the 2012/13 English Premier League title.
Will it be Manchester City again after their dramatic final-day triumph last season? Or can Manchester United recapture the crown from their noisy neighbours?
A total of 2023 cast their votes and Man United emerged with an overwhelming 50% of the votes.
Robin van Persie's move from Arsenal to United may have swung the votes heavily in the favour of the Red Devils.
Ng Thiam Huat, a United fan, believes Van Persie's arrival has boosted his side's title hopes.
He said, "To be honest I had doubts over United's title hopes but now that we have RVP, I believe we can recapture the title back from City."
The surprise however, came in the form of Liverpool, who according to the voting results, will be the closest title challenger to United with 16% of the votes -- that is despite finishing a lowly eighth in the league last season.
The Reds remain the best supported club in Singapore and that could explain the number of votes they garnered.
Liverpool fan Andy Yeo admits the voting results flattered the Reds, whom he believes will struggle to even make it into the top four.
He said, "The title is out of reach for us. The top priority this season is undoubtedly to make it into the top four. But I am expecting another tough season ahead for Liverpool."
Arsenal came in third with 11% while Man City and Chelsea garnered 11% and 10% respectively.
