Most observers agree that there was something missing from England's performance in their Euro 2012 opener against France.
But when it came to the official pre-match team picture, there was no question: something was definitely absent, and his name was Glen Johnson.
Normal procedure after the national anthems is for the players to group together for an official line-up pic, but for reasons so far known only to himself the Liverpool right-back trotted off happily to continue warming up.
Johnson skipped away merrily while the remaining ten men put on their best grimaces for the snap, with Johnson's absence mainly noticeable because it left new boy Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain with a conspicuous gap behind him.
Luckily, that was the last time the 27-year-old went missing during the game: Johnson did an admirable job keeping France superstar Franck Ribery quiet in Donetsk, and looked dangerous when going forwards himself.
