The stars of Manchester United are no strangers to glam parties and red carpet events.
And last Thursday was no exception, as the Premiership title holders stepped out in their Sunday's Best for a good cause.
The occasion was a charity function at Old Trafford called "United for Unicef", which promised to be a relaxing night of dinner, dance and generous auctions for both players and fans.
Open to the public, the gold packages for the gala reportedly sold out quickly, despite costing £2,250 (S$4, 612). The package included a red carpet arrival, drinks reception, three-course meal and commemorative programme.
There was also a platinum package which allowed priority seating on the table next to the United players, which was a popular choice for fans who were willing to fork out that exorbitant amount.
The night also promised to be a far cry from the stress surrounding the club's unimpressive performances in the league.
